About Paratus Electrical
My name is Frank Mckenzie and the name Paratus comes from my time in the British army. Paratus means ” ready for anything” in Latin. It is a nod to the regiment I served, the 3rd Battalion the parachute regiment where it is the motto.
My work and presentation reflect my passion for detail and the professionalism I would expect. I have 1 son and 1 daughter and I have been with my wife Sarah for 12 years and married for 3.

How can I pay?
All pricing will be subject to VAT. We take card payments (incl. all major credit cards), cash, and bank transfer on completion of jobs. For large jobs we may request a deposit. We are VAT registered and our company number is 16130852.
Will you provide a certificate?
Yes, we will issue a certificate for works that need one. Some will require full install certificate, whereas some only need a minor works cert.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, Paratus operates 24 hours a day
Can you visit at short notice?
Unless its an emergency i.e no power to needed appliances then the answer is probably no. We will do our best to be with you as soon as possible. If it is a large job or a job we need to book in we will liase with you that best suits a day and time for yourself.
'Can you just' jobs
Usually we can do them “can you just jobs” whilst we are performing other electrical works although rewiring your kitchen might be a little bit too much!
Will there be mess?
When performing some electrical tasks like chasing into a wall for additional power or cutting out spotlights there will be mess.
Paratus will clean up to the best of our ability and always ask the customer if they are happy that all rubbish and dust has been cleared.
